Anthropic’s Third-Quarter Revenue Reaches $16.8 Billion Ahead of Planned IPO
Revenue rose about 45% from the prior quarter, while future cloud, chip and data center commitments exceed $600 billion.

Anthropic could make its prospectus public as soon as Monday, Oct. 26, updating its IPO timeline ahead of a planned mid-November listing as the AI company reports $16.8 billion in third-quarter revenue.
Revenue rose about 45% from the second quarter, compared with growth above 140% in the prior quarter. Anthropic said it reached profitability on an adjusted basis in the third quarter. The company confidentially submitted documents to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission in June.
Future commitments for cloud computing, chips and data centers exceed $600 billion, with the spending expected to unfold over several years. In 2025, 47% of Anthropic's revenue came through Amazon and Google cloud platforms. Both companies are also investors and providers of computing capacity.
Under a planned share structure, Anthropic's seven co-founders would hold 50.1% of voting rights. A long-term public-benefit trust made up of nonshareholders would be able to appoint and remove a majority of the board.
The Monday window follows a prior timeline that put public disclosure as early as Friday. The prospectus still needs to clarify the revenue contribution of two major customers, computing contract costs, and whether existing shareholders can sell shares ahead of other investors at listing.
