Empery Digital Resumes Share Buybacks Amid $65M Data Center Plan
The company bought 122,955 shares in the week ended Oct. 23. Its partner is still pursuing a 15-year lease for the Midwest facility.

Empery Digital Inc. resumed share repurchases in the week ended Oct. 23, buying 122,955 shares as a lease remains pending for its planned $65 million Midwest AI data center investment.
The Nasdaq-listed Bitcoin treasury company paid an average of $2.89 per share. About $50 million remained under its $200 million buyback authorization as of Oct. 23. At that date, Empery held 1,018 Bitcoin (BTC), about $70 million in cash and about $35 million in debt.
Empery agreed in June to invest $65 million for a 25% stake in a private entity acquiring the data center property. The existing facility has 150 megawatts of available power and its own substation. Its capacity could expand to about 300 megawatts.
Project partner Hunt Properties, Inc. is pursuing a 15-year triple-net lease. Under the proposed terms, the tenant would cover the data center buildout, electricity and operating costs. Empery’s funding obligation would be limited to its initial $65 million investment.
“Our focus remains on allocating capital to create shareholder value, balancing accretive repurchases with investments that can generate meaningful cash flow,” Empery Digital Co-Chief Executive Officer Ryan Lane said.
The lease has not been signed. Empery said Hunt expects to complete it in the near term.
