Strategy Executive Chairman Michael Saylor said Monday the company repurchased $205 million of STRC preferred stock. In the same update, he listed Strategy's holdings as 848,517 Bitcoin (BTC) and $5.1 billion in dollar assets as of Oct. 25.

The update pairs a company capital action with an asset snapshot. The two asset figures are tied to Oct. 25: Strategy held 848,517 BTC and had $5.1 billion in dollar assets at that cutoff. The $205 million figure describes the value of the repurchased STRC stock; it is separate from the company's Bitcoin holdings and dollar assets.

STRC is a variable-rate perpetual preferred stock issued by Strategy. The buyback concerns a preferred security that Strategy itself issued, while the other figures describe assets held by the company. The update places the repurchase amount and its two asset totals together, but only the Bitcoin and dollar-asset figures are dated Oct. 25. The repurchase amount and the asset totals are separate measures.
