Anthropic Says 79% of Revenue Comes From Outside Its Top Five Accounts
The company said no single customer contributed more than 10% of revenue and acknowledged it had underestimated its computing capacity needs.

Anthropic said Oct. 26 that customers outside its five largest accounts generated 79% of revenue, while no single customer contributed more than 10%, indicating limited dependence on any one buyer.
The two figures describe different measures of concentration: the 79% share excludes the top five accounts as a group, while the 10% limit applies to each individual customer. Together, they put the five largest accounts' combined contribution at 21% of revenue.
Anthropic also acknowledged that it had substantially underestimated the computing capacity it would need. The disclosure pairs a broad customer mix with an admission about the scale of infrastructure demand the company had misjudged.
Under an agreement reached in April, Amazon is to provide up to $20 billion in financing. Google has purchased 38.6 million shares of Anthropic's G-2 class nonvoting redeemable stock.
Anthropic said it has not agreed to any major acquisition. Its disclosures put revenue concentration, computing needs and financing arrangements with Amazon and Google in view at the same time.
