Anthropic Files for Nasdaq IPO With $80.7 Billion First-Half Loss
Revenue reached $16.3 billion in the first half, while $72.4 billion of the loss came from noncash revaluations.

Anthropic filed a registration statement for a Nasdaq IPO Monday, disclosing an $80.7 billion first-half net loss as its fast-growing revenue and long-term computing commitments come into focus ahead of a public offering.
Revenue reached $16.3 billion in the six months ended June 30, up from about $1.2 billion in the same period a year earlier. Net loss widened from $13 billion to $80.7 billion. About $72.4 billion of the first-half loss reflected noncash revaluations of convertible notes and related instruments, while operating loss narrowed to $693 million from $2.14 billion.
The filing disclosed computing commitments of up to $120.5 billion involving SpaceXAI and Nvidia, along with up to $114.5 billion with Google through 2033. Combined computing and infrastructure costs reached about $8.95 billion in the first half.
The registration statement lists ANT as the proposed Nasdaq ticker. It does not specify an offering price or share count, and the $100 billion fundraising figure is not established in the filing.
