Cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities totaled $490.6 million at June 30, with the balance expected to fund operations into the third quarter of 2028.

Wave Life Sciences will review third-quarter 2026 results and provide business updates on Tuesday, Oct. 27. The company expects fourth-quarter data for WVE-006, its RNA-editing candidate for alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency.
At June 30, cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities totaled $490.6 million. The balance was expected to fund operations into the third quarter of 2028. Second-quarter revenue was $2.272 million, compared with $8.699 million in the year-earlier quarter.
Wave's Oct. 1 plan outlines a two-year registrational trial for WVE-006. A one-year interim analysis could support potential accelerated approval. The company expects to share fourth-quarter 2026 data from a 600-milligram monthly multidose cohort.
WVE-007 is also being studied alongside weekly tirzepatide in adults with obesity. Wave began the Phase 2a study in September, evaluating 240-milligram and 400-milligram doses of WVE-007.
The webcast and conference call are scheduled for 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 UTC) Tuesday, Oct. 27.
