Backpack announced Monday, Oct. 26, that CircuitAI now supports its Solana-issued tokenized stocks, adding a way for users to build and automatically rebalance portfolios around an investment thesis.

Users can describe an investment idea for an AI agent to assemble into a portfolio. The agent then rebalances the portfolio automatically. The announcement did not identify which stock tokens CircuitAI supports or detail the rules the agent uses to make changes.

Backpack’s tokenized stocks can be redeemed for underlying shares through Backpack Exchange at a one-to-one ratio. A user deposits the tokens at the exchange, where they are burned; the same number of shares is then credited to the user’s Backpack account as security entitlements under Article 8 of New York’s Uniform Commercial Code.

Backpack lists minting and redemption as taking seconds and carrying no fees. Those figures apply to converting between tokens and shares; the integration announcement did not detail other trading or network costs. Access to the tokenized stocks is subject to eligibility and jurisdictional restrictions.

The integration adds portfolio automation to Backpack’s existing Solana stock-token offering. In a separate earlier development, Sunrise brought Backpack’s tokenized Meta shares to Solana. That launch concerned the tokens’ availability on Solana, while the CircuitAI announcement adds a tool for building and rebalancing portfolios around them.
