A new vehicle will purchase Broadcom AI accelerators and networking equipment, then lease them to Anthropic. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2027.

Bank of America, Blackstone, Citi and Morgan Stanley announced a $63 billion financing structure to support Anthropic’s AI computing capacity, with a new vehicle set to buy Broadcom equipment and lease it to the AI company.
The vehicle will purchase Broadcom XPU AI accelerators and networking solutions. Bank of America, Citi and Morgan Stanley will arrange the first-lien financing, while Blackstone will be the sole funder of the second-lien portion.
Broadcom will provide residual-value support to the vehicle equal to the first-lien financing amount. The financing is part of a strategic compute capacity agreement Broadcom announced earlier. Deliveries are expected to begin in 2027.
