Anthropic Files S-1 With SEC for Planned Nasdaq Listing
Synthetic trading contracts implied a $1.86 trillion to $1.88 trillion valuation, but they do not represent company shares.

Anthropic filed an S-1 registration statement with the SEC on Oct. 26 for a planned Nasdaq listing, beginning the IPO process while leaving the share count and offering price unset.
The proposed offering would place Anthropic Class A shares on Nasdaq's Global Select Market with ANT as its ticker. The S-1 is not yet effective, and Anthropic still needs to determine the number of shares and set a price range before launching the offering.
Synthetic perpetual contracts linked to Anthropic implied a valuation between $1.86 trillion and $1.88 trillion on Oct. 25 and 26. A prediction-market contract assigned a 32.5% probability to a first-day capitalization between $1.75 trillion and $2 trillion. A separate contract put the probability of a listing before Dec. 31, 2026, at 94.5%.
The estimates are trading expectations, not an official company valuation. The perpetual contracts track synthetic indexes, do not represent Anthropic shares and confer no ownership rights. An official market capitalization would require a share price and total share count, neither of which Anthropic has set.
