SK hynix has not decided on additional shareholder returns as it prepares to report third-quarter results Tuesday evening in the U.S., leaving any new measures subject to board approval.
The company plans to release results before 8 p.m. ET Tuesday (00:00 UTC Wednesday), or before 9 a.m. Wednesday in Seoul. Its Korean-English earnings call is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET Tuesday (00:00 UTC Wednesday), corresponding to 9 a.m. Wednesday in Seoul.
In an Oct. 26 filing, SK hynix said no additional shareholder-return measures had been determined as of that date. It said it would announce additional measures with its third-quarter results, subject to board approval.
The company already has a 40 trillion won share repurchase and full cancellation plan approved by its board on Aug. 19. SK hynix also raised its target for returning cash to shareholders to more than 50% of cumulative free cash flow generated from 2025 through 2027.
The upcoming report follows a strong second quarter. SK hynix recorded revenue of 79.3187 trillion won and operating profit of 60.5426 trillion won, increases of 257% and 557%, respectively, from a year earlier. The company linked the results to demand for AI infrastructure and higher sales of high-value memory products.
SK hynix said it began mass shipments of HBM4 in the second quarter and had long-term agreements with around 10 customers.
The third-quarter results are scheduled for release before the company’s 8 p.m. ET Tuesday earnings call (00:00 UTC Wednesday).
