Armstrong World Industries posted third-quarter net sales of $475.8 million, up 11.9% from a year earlier, while adjusted diluted earnings per share climbed 10.2% to $2.26.

GAAP diluted earnings per share was $2.17. Input cost inflation, Mineral Fiber mix headwinds and tariffs pressured margins.

Chris Calzaretta, senior vice president and CFO, said results included adjusted EBITDA margin expansion in both segments, “despite ongoing input cost and tariff pressures.”

Armstrong updated its 2026 outlook to net sales of $1.788 billion to $1.803 billion and adjusted diluted EPS of $8.30 to $8.40. The company makes products for architectural applications, including ceilings, specialty walls and exterior metal solutions.
