A $14 million Series B for Indian AI startup Simplismart will support development of its model-serving software and expansion in North America, with Nvidia among the investors.

Simplismart announced the round Tuesday, Oct. 27. Dallas Venture Capital led it, while Nvidia, Accel, Shastra VC and Micromax also participated. The company said its annualized revenue run rate grew 14-fold over the six months through the announcement. It did not disclose a dollar amount for the run rate.

CEO Amritanshu Jain estimated that about 55% of revenue came from the U.S., even though Simplismart has more customers in India. Jain said the run rate reflects recent customer usage, not contracted recurring revenue, and excludes revenue passed through to infrastructure providers.

Simplismart’s software configures AI model deployments around application requirements and helps cloud providers offer managed services using GPU capacity. The company plans to use the funding to develop its inference engine and orchestration platform and expand in North America.
