INFICON Holding AG lifted its 2026 revenue and operating-income margin goals Tuesday, after a record third quarter that included $233.3 million in sales and record order intake.

The Switzerland-headquartered maker of instruments, sensors and software now projects full-year sales of $820 million to $850 million, compared with its prior range of $750 million to $780 million. It also raised its operating-income margin target to 21% to 22%, from 19% to 20%. The sales range moved up $70 million at each end, while both ends of the margin range increased by two percentage points.

Third-quarter sales totaled $233.3 million, up 42.4% from a year earlier and 17.7% from the second quarter. Operating income was $59.5 million, equal to a 25.5% margin, and gross margin was 50.1%. INFICON attributed part of the sequential increase in operating-income margin to favorable one-off effects.

Sales in INFICON’s Semiconductor & Vacuum Coating market climbed to $135.4 million, a 74.7% year-over-year increase. The company identified leading-edge logic, high-bandwidth memory and data-center infrastructure as primary drivers of its semiconductor ramp, and cited the semiconductor upcycle as part of the rationale for its higher outlook.

Order intake exceeded the record set in the second quarter, while the book-to-bill ratio remained well above 1. The company supplies equipment and software used in semiconductor fabrication and other industrial processes.

During the Oct. 27 results webcast, Chief Executive Officer Oliver Wyrsch said, “We have delivered a record third quarter regarding sales and orders.”

INFICON also flagged elevated supply-chain disruption risks. It said higher logistics and material costs may become a greater headwind.
