Ford U.S. Sales Fall 6.6% Ahead of Oct. 28 Q3 Earnings Event
Ford sold 509,764 vehicles in the quarter. Adjusted for planned Escape and Corsair phase-outs, the company said sales volume was essentially unchanged.

Ford Motor Company is scheduled to hold its third-quarter earnings event at 5 p.m. ET (9 p.m. UTC) Wednesday, Oct. 28, after U.S. vehicle sales fell 6.6% year over year to 509,764 in the quarter.
Ford said sales volume was essentially unchanged from a year earlier after adjusting for the planned phase-outs of the Escape and Corsair. On that adjusted comparison, the company cited an industry decline of about 1%. Ford estimated its adjusted retail share at 12.1%, up about 0.4 percentage points from a year earlier.
“We delivered a solid quarter and continued to gain retail share adjusted for the planned sunset of Escape and Corsair,” said Andrew Frick, president of Ford Blue and Model e.
Third-quarter earnings per share forecasts range from $0.39 to $0.4099. The estimates are forecasts, not Ford guidance.
A short-term supplier issue affected F-150 production at the end of September. Ford said the expected financial impact was within its 2026 adjusted earnings before interest and taxes outlook of $10 billion to $11 billion, which it raised July 28. Its full-year adjusted free cash flow outlook is $6 billion to $7 billion.
