Janus Henderson Announces Nasdaq-100 Fund Unavailable to U.S. Persons
JQQQ is set to launch exclusively on Stellar. The firms did not provide a date for when subscriptions will begin.

Janus Henderson and Centrifuge announced JQQQ on Oct. 27, a tokenized fund that seeks to track the Nasdaq-100 Index but is unavailable to U.S. persons. The firms did not give a date for subscriptions to begin.
Access is limited to eligible investors in jurisdictions where JQQQ can lawfully be offered and marketed. As a segregated portfolio, JQQQ is part of Anemoy Capital SPC Limited, a British Virgin Islands company. Anemoy Asset Management Limited is the investment manager, while Janus Henderson Investors US LLC serves as the sub-investment manager. Centrifuge provides infrastructure for issuing and operating the fund onchain.
JQQQ's index-tracking strategy is licensed by Nasdaq, and the fund is set to launch exclusively on Stellar. The license does not make Nasdaq the fund's issuer or mean the exchange endorses, sells or promotes JQQQ. Shares give holders indirect economic exposure to the performance of an investment product tracking the index, without ownership of the index or shareholder rights.
Any potential use of JQQQ shares as collateral or in lending depends on independent third parties, investor eligibility and applicable terms. Janus Henderson does not offer, facilitate or endorse those services.
“Tokenization becomes much more powerful when the assets investors want to own can also become building blocks for an onchain financial system,” said Anil Sood, Centrifuge’s chief strategy and growth officer.
Janus Henderson describes its existing onchain platform as covering more than $1 billion in institutional strategies across U.S. Treasuries, structured credit and public equities. That total applies to the broader platform, not JQQQ. The firm puts its overall assets under management at about $500 billion.
JQQQ extends the firm's onchain fund activity, following its tokenized JAAA fund on Centrifuge. The Oct. 27 announcement did not state a minimum subscription or fee rate.
