Datavault AI shares plunged nearly 50% after the Nasdaq-listed company said it has been unable to withdraw Bitcoin (BTC) held at Biconomy since June, putting a company-held crypto position at the center of the disclosure.

The BTC came from a September 2025 equity transaction with Scilex Holding. Scilex agreed to pay $150 million in Bitcoin for Datavault shares and warrants. An off-chain transfer credited the BTC to Datavault's Biconomy wallet.

The withdrawal difficulty began months after the deal. Scilex's agreement dates to September 2025, while Datavault said its inability to withdraw began in June 2026. Both details refer to the Bitcoin credited to the company's wallet at Biconomy.

The nearly 50% decline applies to Datavault AI shares. The $150 million figure is the agreed Bitcoin payment for shares and warrants; the company's statement concerns its ability to withdraw the BTC from the exchange. The withdrawal issue involves Bitcoin Datavault received through the 2025 transaction.
