Argus Research moved Abbott to Hold Tuesday, Oct. 27, six days after the health care company cut its 2026 comparable-sales growth outlook to about 6% from a 6.5% to 7.5% range.

The revised forecast followed 7% comparable-sales growth in the third quarter. Abbott’s comparable-sales measure excludes foreign-exchange effects and certain revenue tied to a multiyear agreement. TokenPost previously covered Abbott’s sales outlook reduction.

Abbott narrowed its full-year adjusted diluted earnings-per-share range to $5.50 to $5.55 from $5.45 to $5.60, keeping the midpoint unchanged. It projected fourth-quarter adjusted diluted earnings per share of $1.62 to $1.67.
