GE HealthCare will release third-quarter results before U.S. markets open Wednesday, after Patient Care Solutions posted lower revenue and a segment loss in the second quarter.

For the quarter ended June 30, revenue was $5.295 billion, up 5.7% year over year, and organic revenue growth was 3.5%. Organic orders increased 11.1%, while backlog stood at $23.9 billion. Diluted earnings per share was $1.24; adjusted earnings per share was $1.13, up 6.6% from a year earlier. Both measures benefited from tariff refunds and a lower tax rate.

Patient Care Solutions generated $675 million in revenue, down 13.3% year over year, and recorded a $26 million segment EBIT loss. GE HealthCare President and CEO Peter Arduini said the company was reviewing strategic options for the segment. Organic revenue grew 5% in Advanced Imaging Solutions and 14.6% in Pharmaceutical Diagnostics.

GE HealthCare reaffirmed its 2026 outlook for organic revenue growth of 3% to 4%, free cash flow of about $1.6 billion, adjusted EPS of $4.80 to $5.00 and an adjusted EBIT margin of 15.4% to 15.7%. Adjusted EPS and adjusted EBIT margin are non-GAAP measures. The company also expected about $250 million in inflation costs across memory chips, oil, freight and other components.

GE HealthCare’s earnings call is set for Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. ET (12:30 p.m. UTC).
