Invesco Adds Model Portfolio Tools to Anthropic’s Claude for Advisors

The connector adds practice-management research, portfolio optimization resources and referral scripts. Invesco says it is for educational use and asks users to review AI outputs independently.

Invesco is bringing model-portfolio data and advisor resources into Anthropic’s Claude for Financial Advisors, giving advisors who use its portfolios access to research and business-development tools within the AI platform.

The connector surfaces Invesco’s research on managing an advisory practice and materials on portfolio optimization, alongside portfolio information. Advisors can also use Invesco’s research-based referrals program, which supplies tailored scripts for developing their businesses. Invesco manages $2.5 trillion in assets.

Claude for Financial Advisors also connects to customer relationship management, custody, portfolio reporting, financial planning and meeting tools. The Invesco connector adds portfolio and practice resources to those capabilities. The connector adds to the use of AI tools in advisory firms, including software designed to reduce routine paperwork.

Existing model advisors stand to gain broader access through the connector, Clint Harris, Invesco’s global head of solutions and custom strategies, said. John McDonough, Invesco’s head of Americas distribution, said technology can strengthen the value advisors bring to clients.

Invesco describes the connector as an educational tool that does not provide investment advice and advises users to review AI outputs independently.
