SunCoke Lifts 2026 Free Cash Flow Outlook to $180 Million-$185 Million
The company said the change reflects an October settlement with Algoma Steel related to a 2025 claim.

SunCoke Energy raised its 2026 free cash flow outlook to $180 million-$185 million, reflecting the impact of an October settlement with Algoma Steel related to a 2025 claim.
The new range is up from the company’s previous forecast of $150 million-$160 million. SunCoke Chief Financial Officer Shantanu Agrawal said on Tuesday, Oct. 27, “We are increasing our free cash flow guidance to a range of $180 million-$185 million.”
SunCoke did not disclose the settlement amount or terms. Agrawal said its impact was reflected in the revised guidance.
The company’s 2026 outlook also includes operating cash flow of $270 million-$285 million and capital expenditures of $90 million-$100 million. SunCoke classifies free cash flow as a non-GAAP measure and defines it as operating cash flow adjusted for capital expenditures and debt issuance costs.
SunCoke also expects full-year Consolidated Adjusted EBITDA to modestly exceed the top of its $250 million-$265 million range. The company had previously covered that outlook in its third-quarter results report.
SunCoke produces coke for steel blast furnaces and provides industrial services to logistics terminals and steel mills.
