HIVE Digital Technologies announced that its subsidiary BUZZ Alpha Cloud signed a three-year credit agreement worth about $129 million, with annual interest fixed at 9%. The facility carries a loan-to-cost ratio of about 80%.

The financing will support an approximately $165 million purchase of AI GPU systems and related infrastructure, including NVIDIA GB200 GPUs. HIVE's equity contribution will come from 0% convertible bonds issued earlier this year.

BUZZ HPC plans to use the equipment for a three-year sovereign AI arrangement serving Cohere through Bell Canada. The contract is valued at about $220 million and is one of two GPU cloud deals with a combined stated value of $570 million.

A separate five-year commitment with an unnamed investment-grade enterprise customer accounts for about $350 million. GPU delivery is expected by the end of the fourth quarter of 2026.
