RLUSD is Ripple’s U.S. dollar stablecoin, designed to facilitate regulated digital-dollar transactions across blockchain platforms.
Eligible institutional clients can already use BNY’s RLUSD custody service to hold and transfer the stablecoin through the bank’s digital asset platform. BNY is working with Ripple on a future option for clients to mint and redeem RLUSD through the bank.
