Nomura Holdings’ net income attributable to shareholders rose 13% year over year to ¥103.7 billion in its fiscal second quarter, covering July through September 2026. All three consolidated measures fell from the previous quarter.

Net revenue was ¥607.5 billion, up 18% year over year. Income before income taxes reached ¥148.0 billion, an 8% increase. The quarter was the second of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2027.

Banking was the only other division listed with increases in both measures: revenue climbed 27% to ¥16.4 billion, and pretax income rose 37% to ¥4.4 billion.

Nomura declared an interim dividend of ¥35 per share, compared with ¥27 per share a year earlier.
