Former DOJ Antitrust Officials Launch AI Litigation Startup FluxCap
The platform groups legal rules, evidence and case strategy tools. It raised $6 million in seed funding in March 2026.

Former DOJ antitrust officials Jonathan Kanter and Doha Mekki launched FluxCap, an AI litigation platform meant to help smaller legal teams organize complex disputes in one workspace.
Both worked in the U.S. Department of Justice’s antitrust division. Kanter led the division, while Mekki served in its senior ranks. FluxCap is focused on complex, high-stakes cases, with an emphasis on antitrust disputes.
The company describes its platform as three tools for different parts of litigation. FluxAlmanac organizes curated legal rules and doctrines, with a focus on antitrust. FluxFacts connects case claims to supporting evidence. Vision Manager helps with case strategy and risk planning.
FluxCap says its citation features are intended to reduce sourcing risks in AI-assisted legal work. The company also says the platform is designed for smaller legal teams handling cases against opponents with greater resources.
FluxCap raised $6 million in seed funding in March 2026, with litigation funder Burford Capital among its backers. By late October, the platform was in use in active litigation matters seeking more than $1 billion in damages.
The startup is recruiting engineers and product designers in New York City and Washington, D.C., with experience in React/Next.js and Python.
