Ripple announced Wednesday that RLUSD will be added to Coinbase Prime, Coinbase Exchange and Coinbase’s retail app, widening U.S. access to the stablecoin through institutional, exchange and consumer channels.

The planned Coinbase rollout includes one-for-one conversions between RLUSD and U.S. dollars, as well as between RLUSD and dollar-denominated stablecoins. Those terms pair the planned product additions with conversion options in both categories.

Coinbase Global Exchange is also set to support RLUSD as collateral. That is a separate planned feature on a platform distinct from Prime, the exchange and the retail app.

The changes remain forward-looking: RLUSD is due to reach the three Coinbase products, while collateral support is planned for Global Exchange. The arrangement combines consumer and institutional distribution with a separate collateral feature, broadening RLUSD’s planned presence across Coinbase’s U.S. services.
