Northstar Launches Security Context Graph With $7 Million Seed Round
Its graph has more than 70 integrations and lets external AI agents access connected security and IT data through the Model Context Protocol.

Northstar Security launched its Security Context Graph Wednesday alongside a $7 million seed round. The platform helps teams and AI agents investigate connected risks across enterprise systems.
Wing Venture Capital led the round, which also included MVP and Outliers. Gerhard Eschelbeck, Renaud Deraison and Justin Somaini invested individually. The funding will support product development, team expansion and go-to-market efforts.
The platform organizes security and IT information in a real-time graph. The graph maps relationships among assets, identities, vulnerabilities, applications and business systems, giving users connected information to examine during an investigation.
The platform has more than 70 integrations, including AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra, Okta, GitHub, Slack, Workday and Zendesk. External AI agents can access the graph through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), and the platform is available to customers.
To illustrate how the product can be used, Northstar described an unprotected laptop belonging to a privileged user with access to a business-critical payroll system. In that scenario, an agent could start a workflow to deploy endpoint protection, notify the laptop’s owner or restrict risky access, with human oversight.
Amer Deeba, Northstar’s co-founder and CEO, said security teams are “drowning in data but starving for context.”
