IREN and Wingspire Complete $363 Million AI Compute Financing

IREN Limited and Wingspire Equipment Finance finalized a $363 million deal involving equipment for high-density AI computing, as IREN grows its AI cloud business.

IREN has a $9.7 billion agreement with Microsoft to deploy AI cloud infrastructure. The company has also disclosed about $3.6 billion in GPU financing for its Microsoft contract and $2.4 billion at a fixed 9% rate for its Mackenzie expansion, detailed in earlier coverage of IREN’s AI financing.
