Bitso and Alpaca Launch Options on More Than 6,000 U.S. Stocks and ETFs

Bitso and Alpaca have launched options trading in Mexico on more than 6,000 U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds, letting eligible customers seek access through their existing accounts.

Customers can request access subject to eligibility and compliance checks. Available strategies include covered calls, cash-secured puts, and purchases of calls and puts.

The offering runs through Nvierto, an investment adviser registered with Mexico’s National Banking and Securities Commission (CNBV).
