Starbucks Brings Back Bearista Cups in a Staggered Holiday Rollout
The wider Bearista collection starts arriving Nov. 5, followed by mystery cups and the original design. Starbucks has not disclosed prices or unit counts.

Starbucks is bringing back its Bearista Glass Cold Cup in a staggered U.S. holiday rollout, with limited releases in November and December and no disclosed prices or unit counts.
Starbucks’ Oct. 5 holiday merchandise announcement set Nov. 5 as the start of arrivals for a wider Bearista collection of drinkware, a plush keychain and coordinated accessories. A separate Oct. 26 announcement set Nov. 10 for mystery glass cold cups at U.S. coffeehouses, with each design concealed until its box is opened. The original Bearista Glass Cold Cup is scheduled to return Dec. 1 at select locations, while supplies last.
The original Bearista Glass Cold Cup drew widespread attention during the 2025 holidays and sold out within 24 hours. Merchandise is part of Starbucks’ “Back to Starbucks” plan.
The 2025 release fell during Starbucks’ fiscal Q1 2026, a 13-week period that ended Dec. 28, 2025. U.S. comparable-store sales rose 4% in that quarter, with comparable transactions up 3% and average ticket up 1%. Those figures cover the company’s U.S. store base overall and do not show whether the Bearista cup contributed to the increase.
The latest reported period, fiscal Q3 2026, also lasted 13 weeks and ended June 28. U.S. comparable-store sales rose 7.9%, transactions increased 4.2% and average ticket climbed 3.6%. Those measures reflect overall U.S. comparable-store performance, rather than sales of a single item.
Starbucks has not announced prices, specific unit counts or purchase limits for the two cup releases. The limited-quantity notice applies to the mystery cups; the original design is listed as available while supplies last.
Starbucks is scheduled to report fourth-quarter and full-year fiscal 2026 results after market close Thursday, Oct. 29. Its conference call is set for 4:15 p.m. ET (20:15 UTC). The report comes before the collection starts arriving and will not measure sales from this year’s Bearista rollout; the cup releases fall in the quarter that includes the holiday season.
