Mirae Asset Places Six-Month Dollar Notes on Solana With Marketnode
The notes fall under a $3 billion program, but Mirae did not disclose the placement amount.

Mirae Asset Securities (HK) Limited completed a private placement of six-month U.S. dollar floating-rate notes recorded on Solana, adding a blockchain distribution channel for the firm’s structured-note business.
The notes were issued under a $3 billion Guaranteed Structured Note Programme. That figure describes the program’s total size, not the amount sold in this placement, which was not disclosed. Mirae Asset Securities Financial Products Limited was the issuer, while Mirae Asset Securities provided a guarantee under related agreements.
Mirae used its proprietary digital infrastructure to issue tokens, make payments and manage the notes over their lifecycle. Marketnode, a Singapore-regulated digital market infrastructure operator, acted as the authorized distributor. The Solana Foundation supported the transaction.
The notes have a six-month term and floating rate. They were placed only with eligible professional investors under Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO) and were not authorized or registered with Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).
Mirae’s digital-bond issuance in January raised 100 billion won across Hong Kong- and U.S.-dollar tranches using HSBC’s Orion platform, which is linked to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA)’s Central Moneymarkets Unit. For the Solana placement, Mirae handled token issuance and administration through its own digital infrastructure.
“The next stage of tokenisation is about distribution,” said Andrew Scott, Marketnode’s head of digital assets. Kelly Sohn, head of digital assets at Mirae Asset Securities, described the placement as “a natural progression of our strategic focus on digital assets.”
Mirae presented the transaction as a possible model for offering structured products through other digital channels. It did not specify additional products or a launch schedule.
