Nscale CEO Reaffirms IPO Plan With $30 Billion Valuation Target
Nscale says its contracts total $103 billion; potential demand tied to them corresponds to 10 gigawatts, while 55 megawatts had been delivered by August 2026.

Nscale founder and CEO Josh Payne told employees in a recent memo that the company intends to pursue its U.S. public listing on schedule and is aiming for a $30 billion valuation. “The numbers speak for themselves,” Payne wrote.
The company, which moved from Bitcoin (BTC) mining into AI data center development, says it has signed $103 billion in contracts. Nscale had delivered 55 megawatts of computing capacity as of August 2026. Potential demand tied to the contracts corresponds to 10 gigawatts.
The valuation goal comes amid investor pushback over Nscale’s proposed IPO valuation. The company’s data center projects have also faced delays and operational challenges.
