Maya Targets 2027 Dual Listing on Nasdaq and Philippine Stock Exchange
PLDT Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan wants local investors to have direct access to Maya shares. The target follows Mynt’s record Oct. 20 IPO, which raised 60.9 billion pesos.

Maya is targeting a 2027 initial public offering on Nasdaq and the Philippine Stock Exchange, giving the digital banking and payments platform a plan to raise growth capital while opening its shares to investors in both markets.
The target moves beyond a second-half 2026 listing window previously under consideration. Speaking Wednesday at a financial briefing in Pasig, PLDT Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan said foreign shareholders prefer a U.S. listing, but he wants the Philippine exchange included so local investors can buy Maya shares directly.
Pangilinan said, “I think there should be a listing here in the Philippines.” He also pointed to Mynt’s offering as evidence of investor demand for shares in a strong Philippine company. “You’ve seen the success of Mynt. They’ve proven that with a quality company like Mynt, they can attract a great deal of demand in their shares,” he said.
Mynt Inc., the fintech parent of GCash, made its public debut on Oct. 20. Its IPO raised 60.9 billion pesos, the largest offering in Philippine history. Maya operates at a smaller scale than GCash, but Pangilinan said its finances can support a standalone offering.
Maya reached net profitability in December 2024 and contributed 559 million pesos to PLDT during the first six months of 2026. The planned sale is intended to provide Maya with growth capital and give early financial backers an exit route, while allowing PLDT to retain a strategic stake.
PLDT and Hong Kong-based investment holding company First Pacific Co. Ltd. together hold 39.6% of Maya. Other major institutional shareholders include KKR & Co., Tencent Holdings and the World Bank Group’s International Finance Corp. Pangilinan’s current target for the dual listing is 2027.
