Westpac may limit eligible customer payments it reasonably identifies as going to cryptocurrency exchanges to a cumulative A$10,000 per calendar month starting Dec. 1, 2026. The policy covers only exchanges Westpac identifies and payments made through relevant Westpac products and payment methods.

The limit is discretionary. Westpac may reject eligible payments that exceed the monthly total, but payments above A$10,000 may still occur.

The bank will not provide exemptions or higher limits. Withdrawals from exchanges into Westpac accounts remain unaffected.
