Dream Finders Homes’ net income fell to $6.653 million in the third quarter of 2026 as the homebuilder incurred $23 million in transaction costs tied to its Beazer Homes acquisition. The results were for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026.

Total revenue rose to $996.049 million from $969.804 million a year earlier. Diluted GAAP earnings per share were shown as ($0.00); basic EPS was also ($0.00), a loss of less than 1 cent per share. Pre-tax income was $13.157 million, down from $60.750 million in the third quarter of 2025.

Homebuilding revenue increased to $942.340 million from $916.671 million, while the segment’s gross margin narrowed to 14.9% from 17.5%. Dream Finders closed 1,967 homes, up from 1,915 a year earlier. Net sales declined to 1,712 from 2,021, but rose 6% excluding built-for-rent activity.

Dream Finders completed its Beazer Homes acquisition on Oct. 20, 2026, in a deal with an enterprise value of about $2.2 billion. The company maintained its full-year outlook for approximately 9,250 home closings.

The company expects additional nonrecurring transaction and integration costs in the fourth quarter. It also anticipates deal-abandonment charges as it evaluates the combined land portfolio.

“Margins remain under pressure, and we continue to carefully balance sales pace and price,” said Patrick Zalupski, Dream Finders Homes’ founder, co-chairman and CEO.
