AtkinsRéalis Lands Three Florida Transportation Contracts Worth $135 Million
The five-year, on-call agreements cover Districts One, Four and Seven and include engineering, consulting and program-management services.

Three new service contracts will put AtkinsRéalis on call for transportation programs in three Florida districts, with a combined value of about $135 million.
AtkinsRéalis announced the awards Oct. 29. Each agreement runs for five years and covers Florida Department of Transportation Districts One, Four and Seven. The work includes consulting, program management, engineering and technical services for transportation programs.
District Four represents a new role for the company: it has not previously served there as the prime general engineering consultant (GEC). Its work in Districts One and Seven extends relationships dating back more than three decades.
AtkinsRéalis also plans to use hurricane-tracking and emergency-management tools for district operations and resilience planning. The agreements cover advisory and technical support; the announcement named no individual projects or work orders.
