Microsoft reported $92.279 billion in revenue for its fiscal 2027 first quarter, a 19% year-over-year increase, as Azure revenue climbed 48% and Microsoft Cloud continued to expand.

The quarter ended Sept. 30. Azure revenue reached $33.165 billion, while Microsoft Cloud revenue totaled $63.9 billion, up 30% from a year earlier.

“Results exceeded expectations across revenue, operating income, and earnings per share,” said Amy Hood, Microsoft’s executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Microsoft announced the results Oct. 28, following an earlier preview of the earnings date.
