Investor Stan Druckenmiller has invested in Trade.xyz, adding a prominent backer to its plan with Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) to bring Hyperliquid-based perpetual contracts to a regulated U.S. market.

On Oct. 29, Druckenmiller said he was pleased to invest in Trade.xyz and looked forward to its collaboration with ICE. He also said he expects, as a market participant, to use Trade.xyz’s products to improve his investment process.

The planned contracts would operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Intercontinental Exchange, the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, is partnering with Trade.xyz on the U.S. offering.

Druckenmiller’s comments place him both as an investor in Trade.xyz and a prospective user of its products. The companies are planning to bring the Hyperliquid-based contracts to the United States; the announcement did not provide a launch date.
