KLA Results Top Forecasts as Analysts See Some Initial Orders for 2028
KLA’s fiscal first-quarter results and guidance exceeded Wall Street forecasts. Analysts also cite backlog growth, visibility through 2027 and some initial orders scheduled for 2028.

KLA Corporation’s fiscal first-quarter results and guidance topped Wall Street forecasts, while analysts cite backlog growth and visibility deep into 2027, with some initial orders scheduled for 2028.
KLA shares rose 2.6% in premarket trading Thursday, Oct. 29.
The results come alongside KLA’s existing outlook for the wafer fabrication equipment market: the mid-$150 billion range for calendar 2026 and more than $200 billion in 2027. The company’s earlier market forecast outlined those projections.
Analysts identify leading-edge node transitions, greenfield fabs, DRAM and high-bandwidth memory demand, and advanced packaging as growth drivers. They also point to fab cleanroom constraints and competitors’ tool-delivery timelines as possible limits on growth.
