Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. reported record first-half revenue of ¥698.1 billion.
Revenue for the six months ended Sept. 30 increased 6.7% year over year.
An improved sales mix, particularly higher revenue in Parts and Service, supported adjusted operating income despite higher costs, mainly logistics costs.
Yen depreciation also supported adjusted operating income.
Hitachi Construction Machinery forecast net income attributable to owners of the parent of ¥90 billion for the fiscal year ending in March 2027.
