ServiceNow Shares Fall After Earnings Revive AI Disruption Fears
Revenue rose more than 20% to $4.11 billion, and the company slightly raised its 2026 subscription outlook.

ServiceNow shares fell Thursday, putting the enterprise software maker on track for its steepest one-day decline on record after adjusted earnings fell short and concern resurfaced that artificial intelligence could pressure traditional software businesses.
Revenue grew more than 20% to $4.11 billion, roughly matching the $4.10 billion forecast. Adjusted earnings were $1 per share, below the $1.02 expected. ServiceNow slightly raised its 2026 subscription revenue outlook to $15.78 billion to $15.79 billion. Net new AI average contract value jumped 65%.
Concern also surrounds how quickly the company’s AI investments will produce returns. A newly formed team of engineers works inside enterprise customers to build AI solutions. The results highlight the tension between rising AI-related business and investor concern that AI could disrupt the broader software sector.
