Industrial/Infrastructure/IoT revenue reached ¥243.8 billion, while Automotive revenue rose 19.3% to ¥189.5 billion.

Renesas Electronics recorded 30.2% year-over-year growth in Q3 2026 non-GAAP revenue, with Industrial/Infrastructure/IoT revenue leading gains as the company forecast full-year 2026 non-GAAP revenue of up to ¥1.674 trillion.
Revenue totaled ¥435.2 billion for the three months ended Sept. 30. It rose 7.4% from Q2 2026 and came in 1.2% above the midpoint of Renesas' July forecast. That comparison is against the company's own outlook, not an analyst-consensus estimate.
Industrial/Infrastructure/IoT revenue reached ¥243.8 billion, up 46.4% from a year earlier. Automotive revenue increased 19.3% year over year to ¥189.5 billion.
Renesas also gave other growth comparisons using adjusted baselines: 33.2% with the Timing Business excluded from the 2025 comparison period, and 22.3% excluding foreign-exchange and one-time effects. The 30.2% figure reflects the main non-GAAP year-over-year comparison.
Non-GAAP gross profit was ¥258.3 billion, with a 59.4% gross margin. The margin improved 1.8 percentage points from a year earlier and was 1.9 points above Renesas' forecast. Non-GAAP operating profit was ¥150.5 billion, and profit attributable to owners of the parent was ¥125 billion.
Renesas' IFRS operating profit was ¥565.3 billion. Its non-GAAP measures adjust IFRS results for nonrecurring and other items. The Q3 reconciliation included ¥445.7 billion in “other” items, a category that includes a gain from the Timing Business sale. That figure covers the full category, not a separately disclosed final gain from the sale.
Renesas completed the transfer of its Timing Business to SiTime on July 1, 2026. For the full year, the company forecast non-GAAP revenue of ¥1.659 trillion to ¥1.674 trillion, a gross margin of 58.6% and an operating margin of 33.2%.
