Alt.town has decided to apply for voluntary delistings of TOWN from Gate and Biconomy as it refocuses on platform development and decentralized trading, with exchange-specific dates still undecided.

The delistings have not been completed. Alt.town plans to announce the schedules and arrangements for each exchange later.

Alt.town plans to direct resources toward its platform and prepare a more open AI-enabled version. It also intends to pursue opportunities involving a business sale, mergers and acquisitions, and partnerships.

The project cited a security incident involving unlocked team tokens in wallets managed through MetaMask that were transferred without authorization. Alt.town said exchanges helped migrate the tokens afterward, but it continued to face difficulty securing funding and operating resources. It also cited the loss of support from some exchanges and a sharp drop in TOWN’s value.

TOWN will remain usable within the Alt.town platform and tradable on supported decentralized exchanges.
