SkyWest expects block-hour production to grow 1% to 2% in 2027, with earnings per share near the 2026 level despite an estimated $0.60-per-share headwind from lower deferred-revenue recognition.

The company forecasts 2026 GAAP EPS of about $10.60. Its 2027 outlook calls for a similar result, with the deferred-revenue headwind measured against 2026. The 2026 forecast assumes fourth-quarter fuel costs of $4.90 per gallon.

Higher fuel costs have pressured SkyWest’s prorate business, and the company expects to offset only part of fuel increases. SkyWest posted third-quarter 2026 net income of $120 million, or $3.08 per diluted share.

SkyWest expects about $825 million in capital expenditures in 2027. Its plans include at least 30 new E175 deliveries through 2028 and CRJ fleet conversions, including CRJ450s. The company has described fleet investment as its preferred use of capital.
