Strategy Says It Could Create $30 Billion in Digital Credit for Bitcoin (BTC)
Executive Chairman Michael Saylor tied the potential capacity to Strategy’s existing balance sheet. CEO Phong Le described preferred-share issuance as its main path to more Bitcoin.

Strategy could create up to $30 billion in digital credit from its existing balance sheet, Executive Chairman Michael Saylor said, outlining potential financing capacity for further Bitcoin (BTC) purchases.
During Strategy’s third-quarter earnings call, Saylor said, “We could create $10 billion, $20 billion, $30 billion of digital credit.” He described the amount as potential capacity, not an announced fundraising target.
CEO Phong Le called digital-credit issuance Strategy’s main path to acquiring more Bitcoin. As a hypothetical example, he said a $1 billion to $2 billion STRC issuance in one month could put some proceeds into dollar reserves and the rest toward Bitcoin purchases.
Strategy is shifting toward preferred shares such as STRC as it moves away from relying primarily on convertible debt or common-stock sales. The approach fits Saylor’s broader digital-credit framework, which places STRC in a credit category within a Bitcoin-focused structure.
Strategy reported third-quarter net income of $19.53 billion, with a $20.91 billion digital-asset valuation gain accounting for most of the profit. Its holdings stood at 848,517 BTC as of Oct. 25, up 26% year to date.
