General Dynamics posted $14.6 billion in third-quarter revenue, topping forecasts by $870 million, while its $4.49 GAAP earnings per share beat estimates by 36 cents as revenue rose 13.2% year over year.
Revenue was 13.2% higher than a year earlier. GAAP EPS came in at $4.49, 36 cents above the estimate.
The company also reported a 6.8-to-1 book-to-bill ratio and a backlog of $220 billion.
