TFI Sets Q4 EPS Outlook as It Reworks U.S. LTL Operations
Management identified execution, network density, service and costs as problems in the less-than-truckload business. A UPS partnership is expected to end in early 2027.

TFI International management forecast adjusted diluted earnings of $1.30 to $1.40 per share for the fourth quarter of 2026, as the company works to improve its U.S. less-than-truckload business.
Management described execution, network density, service and costs as problems in the LTL operation and said TFI is changing its approach. It also said the company has no intention of selling the business.
TFI’s partnership with UPS is expected to end in early 2027. Some customers may need another solution during the transition, adding caution to the near-term LTL outlook.
Outside LTL, TFI’s Truckload segment posted an adjusted operating ratio of 86.7% in the third quarter. Logistics operating income rose about 59%. Management projected additional operating-ratio gains in Truckload and Logistics.
