Maple Lists 225 Million XRP Behind Three Loan Positions Due Through January 2027
The positions carry 96.61 million USDC and 55.19 million USDT in principal. Their displayed XRP collateral was valued at about $281 million across Oct. 31 page checks.

Maple lists three fixed-term positions backed by 225,080,754.85 XRP, with $151.8 million in stablecoin principal due between Dec. 4, 2026, and Jan. 15, 2027.
Two syrupUSDC positions carry 41.61 million USDC due Dec. 4 and 55 million USDC due Dec. 12. A syrupUSDT position carries 55.19 million USDT due Jan. 15. Combined principal is 96.61 million USDC and 55.19 million USDT, or about $151.8 million at nominal dollar parity.
Maple lists 142,766,086.05 XRP in syrupUSDC collateral and 82,314,668.8 XRP in syrupUSDT collateral. The aggregate amounts are listed at the product level and are not allocated across individual positions. The products are backed by loans to institutional borrowers and collateral.
That distinction matters for interpreting the dates: the available totals tie XRP to each product, not to the specific Dec. 4, Dec. 12 or Jan. 15 maturity. They do not show how much collateral is associated with any one date.
Displayed values for the collateral were about $178.26 million for syrupUSDC and $102.78 million for syrupUSDT, or $281.04 million combined, during Oct. 31 checks. Those live dollar valuations shifted between checks.
A maturity date does not establish that collateral will be released or sold. Repayment followed by an authorized release could remove XRP from the loan positions, while refinancing could keep it in use. Maple’s Borrower Hub supports repayment and refinancing, but no borrower plans are listed.
Maple’s lending procedure sets initial, margin-call and liquidation loan-to-value thresholds for each position. A breach of the margin-call threshold starts a 12-to-24-hour cure period. Liquidation conditions include an uncured margin call, a breached liquidation threshold or a contractual default. The public loan rows do not show the specific thresholds for these positions or report a margin call or liquidation.
Three positions do not establish three borrower organizations. Maple’s account structure allows multiple legal entities under one organization, and the public loan information does not identify beneficial borrowers.
Maple’s broader proof-of-reserves update lists $2.05 billion in collateral and $1.23 billion in outstanding loans. The XRP positions add a more specific lending detail to earlier coverage of Maple’s broader collateral update. The first listed maturity is Dec. 4, 2026.
