Deliveries from January through October increased 38.5% year over year to 334,547, even as October’s total came in below September’s.
NIO Inc. delivered 34,246 vehicles in October, fewer than September’s 37,408, while its total for the first 10 months rose 38.5% year over year to 334,547.
October’s count was 18,125 for the NIO brand, 8,383 for ONVO and 7,738 for FIREFLY. The company’s cumulative delivery tally across its brands stood at 1,332,139 on Oct. 31.
The All-New ES8’s delivery count reached 160,000 on Oct. 23. NIO said the model ranked first in China for cumulative retail sales from January through October in both the large SUV segment and the RMB400,000-level vehicle category. The ranking reflects retail sales, while the 160,000 milestone counts deliveries.
NIO shares closed at $3.21 on Oct. 30 at 4 p.m. ET (8 p.m. UTC), down 3.31% from the previous close. That was the last regular-session close before the company issued its delivery update Nov. 1.
