Nvidia supplier agreements target a 2.5-fold increase in substrate capacity over three years, as founder and CEO Jensen Huang described capacity as the constraint amid extraordinary demand.

Nvidia announced the agreements Oct. 21. The company also said Amkor plans to increase advanced packaging capacity by more than 300% by the end of 2028.

“Demand is extraordinary. Capacity is the constraint,” Huang said.

Nvidia’s second quarter of fiscal 2027 ended July 26, 2026. Revenue for the quarter reached $96.2 billion, up 106% from a year earlier. Data Center revenue was $89 billion, a 117% year-over-year increase.
