Binance included XRP (XRP) among assets in a phased withdrawal restart planned for Nov. 1, after the exchange estimated a security incident caused $6.3 billion in token losses.

The exchange set the planned window for 1–4 a.m. ET (06:00–09:00 UTC). Its update listed XRP for the restart.

Binance said its hot wallets were compromised at about 4:05 p.m. ET (20:05 UTC) Oct. 29. The exchange estimated losses of $6.3 billion in token assets, said about $3 billion had been frozen on-chain and said it had set aside more than $6.34 billion to cover losses. Binance also said it had found no evidence that wallet private keys were compromised. It said it would absorb the financial impact of the stolen funds rather than pass it to users.
